CONTEXT
To support continued growth, the organisation wanted to widen the leadership talent pool within its global practice. Senior specialists were expected to contribute not only through their expertise but also through leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
THE CHALLENGE
Many highly specialised professionals have strong credibility in their field but fewer opportunities to develop their leadership voice and influence across the organisation.
The organisation wanted to help these leaders step beyond their technical role, strengthen their leadership presence, build confidence and contribute actively to the broader direction of the business.
THE EXPERIENCE
LDA (Lead / Develop / Act) is a six-month leadership journey designed to help senior specialists grow into broader leadership roles.
Through coaching, peer learning, and leadership conversations, participants explore their strengths, develop a clear leadership voice and practise influencing beyond their immediate teams. They also learn to articulate and share their ideas through formats such as leadership talks and strategic discussions.
Throughout the programme, participants experiment with new ways of engaging others and contributing to conversations about the organisation’s future.
THE IMPACT
The programme has helped expand the organisation’s leadership pipeline, with many alumni moving into senior leadership roles. Participants report greater confidence in contributing to strategic discussions and taking on broader leadership responsibilities across the organisation.
Over time, LDA has become an established part of the organisation’s talent development approach, helping senior specialists step into broader leadership roles and strengthening the next generation of leaders.
